yeah I read that too....then I started reading around. I feel like 3-4 gauge is not big enough imo. At min I would go 2 but I like to over do everything.

Agreed on going big, just thought I would share what the "recommended" size was.

Before you throw your money away I got my wire at advance auto they have some long pieces already made or make your own whatever length up to 48' yes foot not inches. For 1.20 a foot. And the ends were 2.00 a piece. I re did all the wiring on my winch and out my solenoid box under the hood.

First thing I would do is check if it fits. thats a badass winch but the top is very tall and is not removable like some others. It does not fit in all enclosed style bumpers. I sure hope it does for you, thats a great winch

Yeah heard from someone with the same setup, and he said I will have to make some cuts to the front grill to make it fit. I'm in the winch for $300 cause the previous owner didn't want it and didn't even know it was on his truck when he bought it. So I figure if it doesn't work out like I want I can buy a new grill and sell it.

Search all over the internet with not much luck. Anyone have a specific grease they have used to pack in their winch when doing maintenance or just re-greasing? I will need something the also prevents rust from the salt water here in FL and doesn't absorb water. I got pretty overwhelmed at the different grease choices.

    Anything recommendations guys?
