Slight whistle while accelerating?

    3" Lift, HID's, Flow Master, 20% tint, Pioneer Double Din Stereo, Bridgestone Dueler APT(P265/75R16)
    I just had an amp and a 10" sub installed in my 02 Prerunner a week ago and now i hear a slight whistle whenever i accelerate. It is constant while on the freeway. Also my check engine light is on. I cant imagine the stereo install had anything to do with my acceleration. Any ideas of what i have going on?
