    Hi guys,

I am looking to buy 17''x9'' with 20mm offset aftermarket wheels and I noticed it was 1'' wider than the OEM wheels (9 instead of 8). I know that the tires will make all the difference, not the rims, but I wanted to make sure.

    (Sorry for the size)

I am lifting my 2014 Tacoma by 3'' front, 2'' back and ordered 1.5'' spacers.

I did my homework and with this chart,

I assume that I will have a 5.75'' backspacing with those wheels (OEM is 4.5'', correct me if I'm wrong) so with the 1.5'' spacers, the new BS should drop to 4.25''.

Is 4.25'' BS enough to fit the 32'' at 275mm of width with a 3'' lift? Will they clear the UCAs?

They are 30mm (1.2'') wider than the actual stock tires I have on (245/75r16), that means that they are going to stick out 0.6'' more inside and 0.6'' more outside?

What do you think? Just want to calculate everything before spending 2 grand on a set of wheels and I don't want to start trimming to eliminate rubbing since it's a brand new truck. Thank you.

I think you’ll be good brother. You only have to do trimming with 33” tires. I’m in the same boat as you though. I want 17x9’s with 275/70r17 because I don’t wanna deal with the trimming. All the research that I’ve found says it should work no problem. Your setup should look good with the offset on those wheels
