Hi I just bought a 2004 Tacoma TRD with the SR5 and I need 4 shocks. from my research I don't plan on lifting it so it looks like the bilstein 4600s are the best bet. However, I can't seem to find them anywhere everybody is out of stock.

Does anybody know who has the front and both the rears in stock at a decent price?

    Thanks!

How about a different shock than the Bilsteins? Are there any comparable brands out there that might be just as good or possibly better?

    Thanks

I should also say I am not using the truck for off road play. It is my commuter 28 miles each way on highway. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, I have my old stock set of 4600s (fronts, rears and front stock coils) off my 04 from when I put a new lift kit on it over summer. I believe they're 4600s...they are the stock springs and shocks that came on my 2004 TRD Tacoma 4x4.

They're just sitting in my apartment collecting dust, they have about 30k miles on them. I'll sell the lot of it to you for dirt cheap + shipping cost if you want, they're just taking up space in my place. PM me if you're interested

this is why TW is great, people always have parts for sale

although in this case shipping across the country may be cost prohibitive :(

I had my old 4600 shipped to TN from here. All 4 shocks and front springs, it was about $30. It would had been a lot cheaper with just the shocks, as they springs were HEAVY. Just FYI!
