i know i have done something wrong, but i can't figure it out.

Top left is ground to car
top right is add-a-circuit going into fuse box underneath steering wheel
middle is coming from off road light relay
bottom left is "negative" coming from hvac control (green with white strip)
bottom right is "positive" coming from hvac control (solid green)

for some reason though the lower bar of the switch is always on and the top lights up when i turn on my running lights. i know i just placed some stuff wrong i just need someone to tell me where.

does this switch run your running lights or a set of after markets??

"bottom left is "negative" coming from hvac control (green with white strip)"
this one should be tapped into the terminal in the top left

"Top left is ground to car"
    this one is ok

"top right is add-a-circuit going into fuse box underneath steering wheel"
connect this one in the middle terminal

"middle is coming from off road light relay"
off road relay should connect to top right

"bottom right is "positive" coming from hvac control (solid green)"
    this should be correct

its hard to wire this up for up since i dont know what switch it is, i am assuming it is an upper independent switch meaning that the upper light is on with the dash lights and the lower bar turns on with the switch..

OTRATTW has schematics on thier website for all switches...http://www.otrattw.net/wiring-diagrams.html

hope this helps...i have installed allot of these..
