I finished my retrofit however on the driver side the concentration of light is not what its suppose to be.. Could it be that the bulb isn't seated properly or am i just out of luck...

Whoah. Never seen that before. MIGHT just be the bulb. On one of mine the hotspot was a little of but nothing like this. I would send those pics to trs too.

Same thread as on HID Planet too. Just looks like bulb seating to me. :)

See how it kinda looks like #3?

Tells me you just need to re-position the bulb seating. :)

Yeah looks like driver side needs rotated clockwise a bit. maybe the passenger just a tiny hair counter too.

I agree, but I think I'm SOL because everything is sealed and locked down. :(

Are these the H1's? If so I heard from someone a while back that you could try a flat head screwdriver and put the tip inside the notch for the bulb, and twist it a bit. Might try that. Not sure about the D2S. I haven't tried that before but on mine I tightened it down pretty tight but not real tight while holding the projector in place, leaving it twisted counter clockwise a bit. Then with the wrench or socket I tightened it down a hair at a time which would rotate it clockwise as I tightened it until it was perfect. Was a pain tho. Just keep in mind you'll have a hard time getting it perfect regardless. But it bugged the hell outta me and it HAD to be perfect. Just take your time and play with it. You shouldn't need to pull it all apart again. But if you do it should be super easy the second time around.

They are the D2S. Ill look into fixing it. Its also bugging me but i'm probably just going to have to get used to it. Doesn't really show unless your headlights are pointed at a wall.

EDIT: I also put some steel stick to hold the lock nut down so it doesn't back itself out. So i couldn't go moving that without doing some serious cutting. I really needed to put it on the truck before i sealed everything down. I'm just glad it isn't horrible.

    I also have another question.

As I look back to my first driver side picture, the cut off line appears to be straight.

    IMAG0230_zps51f8f891_d37dd7063dfb980825d1b81404c9a4adb54badb7.jpg

However the current one looks angled.

    IMAG0255_zps902e391d_943a8dfbdcf6bc07c674f1e1fd1d2eb92394331b.jpg

Could this also be an issue of bulb seating?

    Thanks for all the imput.

Oh. Yeah well in that case, it's really not that bad. Better having it as it is rather than rotated too much the other way cuz that might shine into oncoming traffic. But, even having that quick steel or whatever on there, it should still be able to turn. As long as it's not super super tight. The silicone washers should be able to give a little. And if you were to try I would do it sooner rather than later while the silicone washers are still fairly soft. I imagine they'll stick in place pretty good after a while.
Btw your shrouds are looking good! Love those. Was thinking of using those for my next set but I already got the gatling 2.0's..
