For some strange reason glassing isn't talked about much other than on LT threads. Even then it's just a term and not much detail about the fiberglass used. I new to this game so I had a few quick questions.
1: I understand Fiberwerx and Glassworks are two of the most mentioned names for fiber glass front and rear panels but which is preferred by anyone with them installed?
2: With the fiberglass in the rear do I need to remove my quarter panels in order to install the fiberglass (I.e. Replace the steel with fiberglass and place the glass over the composite bed)?
3: If I install front fiberglass fenders, would I be able to keep my oem bumper, or replace with another tube or plate bumper. (Going to be welding up a PreRunner style bumper soon anyways)
4: What size tires are most people running with their fiberglass? I'm running 33's now, I'm just not sure if the 33's would fill the new larger void in the wheel well or if I'll need/want to bump it up to 35's.

You can answer 1 or all the questions I asked or none if you want! Really any advice would be fantastic.
I'm also running a decently solid MT setup currently, but only use it for off roading. None of that space shuttle, 50ft jumps in the desert I see some LT guys doing. I'm in GA so just trail rides and fast paced Forest Service road races. Idk if any of the background info on my truck and what I use it for helps, but thanks for any input received guys. Always loving this TW network.

You only hear about it in the LT threads because it's cheaper to just cut your fenders for rock crawling. The other downside is that it makes your "body" much wider and more prone to catching trees and rocks. Cutting doesn't have that side effect. The LT guys can't get away with just cutting because the kit pushes the tires out so far. Plus they usually wheel in more open areas so no trees to worry about.

    1. No personal experience

    2. Yes.

    3. Yes. Some companies have little bumper caps to make the OEM bumper line up with the glass. If you do a plate or tube bumper it will have to be made to fit the glass or modified to fit it after.

    4. Usually 35x12.50's or bigger. 33's don't fill the space up that well like you said. btnewman is running 285/75's with his fiberglass and it doesn't looks fine but he added wheelspacers to help with that.
