    Hey Guys,
Can anybody identify the tires - brand and model -on the new tacomas? I thought they were the Cooper ST Maxx but I am not so sure.

    Thanks
    Sergio

Considering I have not seen them come up on any of the tire discussions, I think I am going to stay away from them. Right now I am looking at the DuraTracs or the ST Maxx.

Those are not Falken Wildpeaks A/Ts. I dunno what model they are, but they're not the A/T.

I am running ST Maxx's, Love them so far. Heard good things from most people who run Duratracs too.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
I've never seen tires come from the factory that were worth a darn. I would assume that you could expect 16,000 out of them like any other OEM tire, then buy something that holds up.

RogueTRD - I was planning on running 265/75/16 on my 2012 DC as a winter set. I have a BFG ATs on some fairly nice wheels. I think the weight difference is about 4 lbs or so. I get about 19-20 mpg. Can I ask what you're getting on yours?

    I grooved these, 37's
I'm buddies with the guys from Falken and have run several sets
If you going to wheel them hard they should be grooved
Best sidewall if any tire I've ever run
Great in snow, rain, sticky on rocks
They are releasing the mud terrain to the public any day
They did very well at king of the hammers this year

Last tank I got 18.2 mpg. Tank before that 19.3. Mine are E load range. Mixed city and highway driving.

I was skeptical. They look nothing like the Falken wild peaks. Usually siping a tire means running a very sharp blade to give a fine cut - not firing up the angle grinder and adding rain channels. Funny they would do that for a new showroom truck.

Check out the tires on the off road rig halfway down the page. They don't look anything like the tire they started out as.
