I have been the proud owner of 2 toyotas that have reached the 400,00 mile mark, one I lost track of and the other is still being driven around town. I recentlly purchased a 99 4x4 Tacoma 2.7l reg cab, and learned a very good lesson. Never buy a truck at night and whiles its raining, lol Went to have the oil changed and the service tech showed me my frame was completely falling apart, rust had taken over 60 percent of the frame, but only the frame. Everything else looked perfect? SO... I bought a new frame and were gonna take it apart and put it back together on the new frame but since my motor will be out I was wondering what I should replace? I figured timing chain kit, clutch, water pump. Is there anything Im missing, I really appreciate anyones help with this problem, thank you in advance, and I will be replacing all the parts with OEM parts, maybe a oil pump? IM kinda lost:confused:
