Last week I got into a low speed accident. I was at fault with only liability and hit a Ford Escape from behind. The Ford had minor dents, however my taco took the brunt of it. Since then, I've been trying to figure out how exactly to repair my truck and what parts would be needed and how much it would cost. I work at a dealership so I had the guy that deals with the body shop look at it and see what would be needed. He gave me a list of the things he thought I would need. Some of it I dont agree with and the end sub-total just for the parts was $1080.90, so I wanted a second opinion.

The following day I went to a body shop I deliver to and got their opinion on what was needed. They told me I would need the whole bumper of course, and the two brackets for it since they were bent in the accident. They said the rest could be pulled straight again.

Would I be able to get away with just that? Or do you guys think I would need other pieces?

Looks like a good reason to slap a front offroad bumper on there. They don't always use that front bracket either so you might not even need that

I was planning on keeping the front bumper stock as I was about to order my full OME kit from wheelers with 883's.

Aren't 883's the ones made to carry extra weight in the front and till lift with a decent ride?

but yeah maybe you could find an aftermarket replacement bumper online cheaply and pull the bracket off a salvage truck.

Yessir. I was talking to Dan from wheelers and he said that because I want the 3 in. lift and that because my truck is a double cab, it would be best due to the weight and of course the coils being able to go to 3 in. of lift. The ride cant be any worse than it is currently, so I'll have to see.

And I was looking at this place we have here called Keystone. They sell recycled OEM parts for a cheaper price. I could either get the normal ones which might require fiddling with them to make them fit or I can get slightly more expensive ones that are a direct fit and come with a lifetime warranty. But my main question is whether or not I would need all of those parts I listed or not. Btw, I've checked every salvage yard in my area. Only one of them has a Tacoma and it doesnt have a single piece of it that isnt heavily damaged.
