A small amount of air always comes out of my defrost vents even when it is set on the floor or dash. Are there any simple things to check before removing the whole dash to find the issue?

This is normal. A small amount is always set to come out the defrost vents. This is to keep the windshield clear of fogging up.

That sucks... It does just the opposite.. My windshield stays fogged up on the very bottom due to it..

That is unusual. The question I would ask you is if the moisture is on the inside, or is it condensation on the outside.

This morning I had the ac off and the windshield was fogging up on the inside right at the defrost vents.. I could feel cool air coming through..

Mine has been doing that but on the outside of the glass. It has been stupid humid the last week or so. Does it on the side glass also off they are pointed at door. Just warm up the temp a little so it's not such a drastic change

MIne did it yesterday evening on the outside of the glass, it was 99° outside and had the ac on max, the temp inside the truck was 78 so I wasnt really wanting to turn the ac to a warmer setting.. I'm about ready to get a piece gray carpet and cover the dang thing... I stay in south Texas most of he year.. What do I need defrost for? lol

    A/C Problem**
The a/c on my 05 Tacoma got worse after I recharged it with a can of r134.
It's not cold at all. I hear the compressor kicks more often, but no cold air.
    What did I do wrong?

I believe if it is over charged this can happen.. you'd probably get more replies by making a new post with a title that reads "ac not cold after charging" or something like that..

It was the middle of summer in South Louisiana and my AC wouldn't blow very cold so I bought a can to recharge it. I'm new to doing this so I wound up over charging it alittle (come to find out it was exactly where it should have been). Now in a coincidence or not, my AC Compressor will cycle on and off about every 5 seconds in idle, not blow cold air at all unless driving, and now the blower doesn't turn on unless its in the highest setting. All the fuses are good just think the compressors got one foot in the grave..... GREAT.
