So i have owned 2 fj cruisers and a double cab 6 cyl auto Tacoma in the past
the fj cruisers were 08 and 11, the other tacoma was a 2013 6 cyl double cab.
Each of those got 20 mpg right out of the box
I am only getting 15 on this new one, also a double cab 6 cyl auto

Today as i was cruising along, i get this great smell of rotten eggs or sulpher in the cab....wonder if the catalytic converter or something in the air filter is screwed up
    any ideas
    tnks

    Welcome!

If you bought it new, I'd say take it to the dealer. That doesn't sound right, and might be unsafe.

You have a 2014.... Take it back to the dealer under warranty.

Your truck is probably only rated to get 16-18mpg. I probably get closer to 16mpg because I drive on highway (65mph) and in city (25mph) mixed. And, I probably drive like your grandma (well, almost). In the winter....with the PA winter gas mixtures, I'm lucky if I get over 15mpg.
