2013 with P0340

So I was leaving work today and clicked the auto start on m truck and all i heard was a clicking noise. When I went to go turn it on with the key I got the same clicking noise. All the lights, horns, radio, a/c etc work fine. Connected it to a scanner and it gave me a P0340 code. When I google this code it comes back as a cam shaft position sensor?

Has anyone had this issue? My truck only has 29xxx miles on it so its still under the 3 year/

36xxx mile warranty but I mean damn. New truck and the cam shaft position sensor is already going bad?

My 2002 Maxima went through cam shaft position sensors left and right. Replaced about 5-6 in a matter of 5 years of owning it.

Does anyone know what causes these to go bad or is anyone else having this issue?

Heading over to the stealership tommorrow so the can fix it

There are other contributing factors to set that code , not just the sensor alone .
