    My GoPro battery probably lasts about an hour it seems. Though I run
    $16 1280p Hollow Steel Punch, 3/4"
    1280p 30 fps with the wifi going. But it's quick enough to change out the battery. I have two batteries right now with a dual battery charger. I may still end up getting another though. I think it's the wifi that seems to suck the life out of it.

    Thanks for that info Lauren. Just realized that the camera I just linked is a 2012 edition. I thought the hero 3 just came out this year... So wither way it go it seems I'm going to be using an older camera.

    The 3+ is the most recent version (vs the 3). I'm not 100% sure, but I think the wifi remote works with all of them that have the wifi capabilities. It's just the black that comes with the remote.

    I found a white one with a few accessories for 135.00 after my coupon. Still not sure if its worth it to get the silver factory refurbished or not. I tried calling go pro and they are closed.

    I had to deal with GoPro customer support ( a lot lol) when I first got mine because it had some issues...but it's top notch service. Best part is they don't send you overseas haha.

    Me? The choice was easy as I had a 30% off coupon. So I got the black 3+

    I haven't really used the super view much since it skews slightly, and I actually haven't used the remote yet. Just been using my phone as the remote. It's nice to have the extra options but if you were trying to save money and do simple filming, the bump below the black might be fine enough. I'd research it though!

    If you go to YouTube you can search various videos like "black vs white gopro" or "super view gopro comparison" to help give you a better idea too of the various features they all have.

    Contour Roam2 is only $129 on Amazon. Sure it's a little less clear than the GoPro 3's but for that price hell I can afford it.

    I also like that it's waterproof to 1 meter without an optional waterproof case (aka rain/splash proof), but I'm mostly going to use it on a motorcycle and dirt bike.

    So I got the ion air pro today... It's broken... It looked great in the pics but the side and back corners are cracked and coming apart.

    So ebay just refunded my money. Which I was surprised. No message from them or anything. I just sent the seller an email saying the issues I had with the camera and then boom full refund. Now just scouring the internet to find a best buy or walmart coupon and just go buy a hero 3 white there. Instead of dealing with damages and crap on ebay

    So ebay is extremely stingy with those coupon codes. It expired at 12:01 pm today not tonight at midnight.

    So that being said is 209.00 a good deal for a factory refurbished go pro. I called go pro today and the seller is legit. I didn't even give them his name. They gave me his name so that was a good deal. Basically If anything happens with the gopro it is just like I bought it in the store.

    So for 199.99 + tax = 218.86 I can get a brand new hero 3 white with a 16gb card. Or for 209.00 otd I can get a hero 3 silver factory refurb

    I'd say get the silver. You almost get double the camera over the white (megapixel wise and FPS). I'm not sure how much a 16 GB card is going to hold. I bought a 64 GB for mine and haven't come close to filling it up. I think it does about 7 hours worth of footage. Though the 64 wasn't cheap.

    Like right now I have 128 video files on it, two days worth of footage, and it says I still have 3 hours 49 minutes left.
