Toytec bilstein/eibach coilovers. Wheels and tires
Hey guys. I've tried searching, but can't quite find what I'm looking for.

I have a 2013 DCLB with front Bilstein/toytec coilovers. The complete ones off the toytec site with the eibach springs. I love these coilovers, they ride great, but I have one small complaint about them.

When I go over fairly large speed bumps, fairly slow, it feels (and sounds) like the shocks are reaching their extended limit. As if the shocks are topping out. I've contacted toytec and they didn't really help or suggest anything so I've turned to you all. Before these coilovers, I had a leveling kit on the stock ones, and never had this issue. No matter how fast or slow I drove, and no matter the size of the bump. Everything else on the truck is stock, and they are preset to 3" (which I'm unsure about because my leveling kit sat higher)

I've read that these only have about 4" of travel in either direction for a total of 8". I've never had any issues of bottoming out. Even when I hit the bump stops, it's much softer than when I feel them top out.

Any suggestions on possible fixes? Anyone ran into this before? Also, is there a shock out there that may give me more travel, or at least travel potential, more than 4", without spending $3000+ on long travel?

Sorry for the lengthy post, but the truck and shocks are new, and don't want to keep banging around over small little things. I can only imagine the beating they will take off road if this keeps up.

    Thanks guys!
