Frame Recall clarification

2007 TRD Yamaha Edition

aluminum rack, 2" leveling kit, soon to be lights and tires

I have a 2007 tacoma trd, Yamaha edition that is included in the 05-08 frame rust recall. I have an appointment to get it checked out at Toyota Friday morning. They said they will either give me a new frame or treat mine with a special compound to further prevent rust.

My question is, if my truck passes the recall Friday and they just treat it, and next year I'm concerned about it further rusting out, will they do anything about it then, or will I have blown my shot at getting it replaced early on because they will have already looked at it as of Friday...?
