Just an updated picture of the truck...added junkyard steel spare wheels off 05+ tacomas that I painted with black rustoleum hammered finish. I was very pleased with how it turned out. Also added the Xready stickers and removed the TRD decals and tacoma badges.

Also have a little more eye candy...we were at the Uwharrie Jamboree a couple weekends ago. We got busy and forgot to take pictures during the even but had a great time volunteering to help out Scott Fields at the Uwharrie Off Road Training Center. Scott is the nicest guy you will ever meet and very knowledgeable. If you have the chance to take a class from him do so. Doesnt matter your skill level, there is always something to learn. You can find more details here...

    http://uortc.com/

All that to say, he has some awesome vehicles at his property that the military trains with and we got the opportunity to play with them a little bit...the hilux with the d4d and 5speed was a lot of fun

Hendrick brought out a couple of their military built JKs. Yea i know, no jeeps on the tacoma forum but these were pretty cool. Had 2.8L diesels in them and were built to the gills...

Yea the hiluxs were great. I drove the 3.0 D4D around the property at the training center over some of UORTC basic obstacles and loved the immediate torque of the diesel. It was certainly more utilitarian feeling over the tacoma. Those trucks have been used hard and put up wet on many occasions by the special forces who train with them and I bet you guys cant guess which truck out of the group has the most reliability issues?

Now I am curious as to the one with the reliability issues. Oh the 255s are AWSOME!!! I liked them so much that I have them on my CDN M101. Good looking truck.
