My 1st real mods coming soon:

Will be starting my first real mods on my Prerunner next weekend. Thanks for everyone's best opinions and influence for the best bang for the buck upgrades.

I will be installing Bilstein 5100s set to 2.5", Eibach coils and AAL, and while I'm there... new Brembo brake rotors with Akebono pads.
I will also be painting my calipers ( thinking black with a red TRD logo) and if I have time... Plasti Dip my badges and front bumper center section.
Trying to do all this in one Saturday.


I could use some helpful pics on the proper placement of the 1/4" spacer.
Also, are you guys using the dust boots on the front Billy 5100 struts? Does not appear so in pics I've seen.

5100's set at 2.5 with non stock coils.... your going to be running no droop. most people run the 5100's at the 0 setting or .85 depending on if they have an aftermarket UCA or not.

I set the clip at 2.5 because that is what the Bilstein directions say to give a 2.5" lift. With the Eibachs, should I use a different setting and still achieve the correct lift?

Also, if anyone can provide a pic of their 1/4" spacer? Just need that extra visual to make sure I'm doing it right.

Saw this pic, am I seeing this right. Coil--> isolator-->top hat-->1/4"spacer then mounted to strut tower?
