    Hello all!

Wanted to take this moment to formally introduce myself. I have always wanted a Tacoma when I was younger, and I just recently got a used 06 4.0L V6 2WD Access Cab PreRunner SR5. Needless to say...I am in love!

I recently popped it's roadtrip cherry by taking it on a 2,500 mile journey from Southern California all the way up to Central Idaho's Wilderness for a flyfishing trip. It was a champ with not breakdowns or mishapps, minus getting pulled over by the Idaho 5-0 for speeding (we got away with a warning luckily). We were deep in that wilderness having to drive 40+ miles on a dirt road, but the 2WD still handled it nicely.

I have a recap of the trip on youtube with some nice timelapse of driving in the beginning of the video. Please take the time to watch it (in HD!), because I am very happy with how it turned out.

Anyways, my objective with this forum is to optimize my vehicle for these types of adventures, and inform myself on the maintenance and DIY projects required for Tacoma.
