    I'm assuming this is out of the question then? :rolleyes:

    both Ruger's mentioned are great guns for the price. My best advice would be go shoot a bunch at a range and see what feels good. I have smaller hands so don't mind the LCP but if you have large hands you will hate it. Personal defense when not out and about falls to my SIG P220 in .45...So I wouldn't use the LCP unless I had to

    Judge isn't that bad to shoot to be honest.

    Personally, 12g shotgun. First round is birdshot, second is 00, third is 00, 4/5th is slug, 6 is buck/incendiary. If I can't hit you I'll wound you and burn my house down with you in it. :)

    Also a fan of this one...My Benelli is always close with some 3 1/2" T-shot in it...In case I manage to miss you with all 7 shells in the .45 I will treat you like an over-sized turkey...

    I like revolvers myself, especially in 38 Spl., .357, and 44 Special. But also have a semi-auto or two including a Smith & Wesson Shield 9mm for CCW duty. If I had to choose just one it would be tough.

    But the good news is I FINALLY got my 4.56 gears installed and ARB lockers at both ends on the Tacoma. Picked it up at lunchtime today.
