Get the Tundra. They pulled a spaceshuttle with it. They never pulled anything awesome with the Tacoma.

Have two dogs. But I got the access cab anyway. Screw'um. They can ride in the back. My 4Runner was a pain in the butt to clean after those animals had their way with it.

I had an access cab until my daughter was about 3. Then it just didn't cut it so I sold it and bought a double cab. But the dog had no problem with the access cab. I actually preferred it for him. Kept him from messing up the upholstery. Fold both seats down and it was a nice flat surface for him to dig his nails into and drool all over. But that was my old pitbull. My current jack russell/boston terrier mix is so crazy hyper I rarely put him in the truck anyhow. He could probably jump over the thing.

I do not have a dog or a kid and never want either one, but I wouldn't give my DCLB up for anything.

I bought my double cab the week after I found out my wife was pregnant. Really miss my access cab though.

Don't have a dog or kids right now, drive an xtracab. It is nice though, because I can haul five small people, and everyone in my family is small. Also, I use the back as storage space for work stuff. (Nailbag, my ten spare hammers, saw, nail gun, etc)

How do you get a dog to stay in the back seat?
Mine is always in the passenger seat.
If my wife is with me then the dog sits on the console....stupid dog!
