Been thinking of different things I could do to my tacoma. Saw a few threads on vinyl wrap aND decided to give it a try. I did the hood only to see how difficult it would be to put on and what it would look like of course. I'm thinking of moving forward with this project

Thanks. It's really dark but it's actually matte blue. I plan to wrap the whole truck. Working on the logistics. How much material I'll need, how long it will take, who will help etc

Oh wow. Yeah now that you say it i can see the blue. Interesting color, I would love to see it fully wrapped. If it comes out as good as the hood it would look great!

Any reason you're wrapping? Just looking for a color change?

EDIT: Sorry, i see in the OP you're just looking for things to do.

Yeah just the color change. I had no idea vinyl had such a variety of color. Saw a few cars online that were wrapped and the wheels started turning. YouTube made it look so easy to install, it wasn't.

Also been wanting new wheels since I'll be swapping out the tires soon. There are not a lot of options for matching wheels to a gold truck. The color change will give me more options when picking out new wheels in my opinion

Moving forward. Wrapped three panels this afternoon. Things are looking good. This stuff takes a lot of patience and practice. I'm lucky to have a friend who has both. I attached a couple pics. I work a lot so let's see how long I will need to drive my truck like this?!

    Looks good OP.
Good luck with the cab. I would guess doing the doors, pillars etc. will be a bear.
