Greetings everyone. First, let me say that I have been searching the forums for months. I debated a new F150 and Tacoma for months. I read many reviews on the On both, and drove both. I loved the ride of the 150, but finally decided to buy my first Tacoma. I have had my 15 DCSB, 4wd Sport for about a week now. To me, it is just okay. I am hoping it grows on me. It was the most appropriate choice based on my actual needs. I don't tow anything heavy, and use it as my daily driver. Plus it fits in my garage. I love to do a lot of woodworking and currently remodeling my house, so I always need a truck. I occasionally need to navigate some trails to get to a few fishing spots here in South Jersey, but no serious off-roading.

With all of that said, I want to improve the "Bouncy" ride. The goal would be to lift about two inches, and will change the wheels and tires. I am mechanically inclined and can do most of it myself. It would seem that the best options based on my research is to install new coilovers in the front and leaf packs in the back. With new shocks all the way around. The most common brands discussed are Toytec, Icon, OME, and Fox.

Budget is not a concern. I only want to do it once. The primary focus is improving the ride, with the side effect of a little lift. I appreciate any suggestions you have.

Icon extended front, total chaos ucas, iron man leaf pack if you want it level, OME leaf pack of you want a rake, icon resi's in the rear. Good to go and remember this is just my opinion, you'll get different opinions from a lot of different people. Good luck.

I think you'll like the Icons with CDC. I got them for the same reasons you have said. 2.5 coilovers in front with Icon UCA's and 2.5 in rear with remote resivors on both, with CDC.
Expensive but if money not an issue it's a good choice. Very easy to install. I also put a 1.5 inch 3 leaf progressive AAL in the rear. I too only wanted to do it once and am happy. Good luck! Feel free to contact me with any questions.
