...here's mine as of yesterday morning. Some dude in a parking lot backed right into me and didn't even look back once. I saw him coming and stopped what I felt like was far enough back for him to see me as soon as he looked back... which he apparently never did. I realized he wasn't seeing me and stopping and was in fact accelerating so I threw it into reverse to back out of his way and before the truck even got into gear he smashed right into me. It all happened in probably about a second or two so there wasn't much time to react really. In hindsight I could have honked but I'm not sure it would have done any good. I didn't think it was all that bad until I saw his reaction when he got out and saw it for himself. I knew it was more than a scratch on a bumper cover. He had a large old Ford truck with a chrome bumper that was unscathed and if I had more of a lift I probably would be replacing a bumper cover today. Fortunately he just started his new insurance policy two days prior so I guess I lucked out there. He gave me his insurance info and driver's license and I took pictures of everything so I get to call his insurance company today to start the ball rolling on getting a claim done so I can get my poor truck fixed. He even was walking around the truck as I was calling my insurance company and said 'Man, barely a scratch on it. This is a nice truck!' My response: 'Was.' He was a pretty nice guy & nobody was hurt so it could have been worse but it also could have been avoided entirely had he just not looked back out of his beast of a truck. FML

I feel your pain, buddy. That's the exact location mine had front end damage on. Best of luck.
