The Tacoma I wanted, with the same options as the Tundra ran 34900. Why buy a Tacoma which is a very nice truck? When I could purchase what I feel is an even nicer truck for less money.

There are three dealers in my area and I shopped all three. Toyota is very proud of their Tacomas. Never the less, I'm very happy with the Tundra. I've owned four Tacomas and one Titan and I prefer the Tundra so far.

i loved my taco, but ended up going to a 2013 tundra rock warrior double cab mag grey, loaded as it comes ($43266 msrp) got the dealer to knock off 6500 before the rebates (helps when the 14's where just about a month or so from hitting the lots and they had about a dozen warriors and limited/rockwarrior package in the back lot) mine has the trd duals right from the factory, and damn is hard to not step on it! mpg, well, blows, 14-15mpg compared to the 18-23 i would see with my taco, but i love it, rock warrior though, you loose on some stuff (you get a manual seat over power, no driver info center, taco type rear slider on double cab, where the off road, sr5, etc get power slider, cheapo steerin wheel over leather wrapped) but gain alot (factory debagged, sweet wheels and tires, and color matched front end) overall i love my tundra nearly as much as my taco, just did a 900 mile road trip and could have done another 900 miles

Gonna bring this back up. Because I'm thinking about selling my tacoma and getting a tundra. I'm in the market for a boat and camper and would like to tow easier

Sorry, not going to have an oil burner. I see them putting the Runner engine in the Taco before they add the burner.

Also, only similar if you get the 4.6L in the Tundra. But who wants that woosy engine in a full sized truck certified to tow 10k lbs?
