I am looking at helo he 878 wheels and it says -12mm offset. I have searched for an entire week and read numerous threads about this. Is it correct to think that this offset measurement means that the wheel is pushed further out rather than sucked in towards the truck? I really lime the wheels they are the 16x9 black with 4.5 backspace. I ha e really tdied to understand this on my own but any help would be appreciated.

There is a calculator that coverts backspace into offset but you already have the backspace so knowing the offset will be kind of meaningless.

Stock wheels for 1st gens are 4.5" BS.
Stock wheels for 2nd gen are 5.5" BS.

less backspacing means it will push out more. If you have a 1st gen they'll be about stock width. If you have a 2nd gen they'll stick out about an inch more.
