I am a new first-time Tacoma owner and am thinking of getting some Marathon seat covers for my truck. I work in the field as an environmental consultant and crawl around in the swamps of central Florida on a regular basis. Therefore, I need some good, waterproof seat covers that are durable and can be cleaned easily so my truck doesn't smell like a peat bog all the time. My questions:

    1. Are the Marathon seat covers easy to take off, clean and put back on say if my wife, for example, wants to use the truck and doesn't want to inherit dirty swamp ass that I left behind the day before?

    2. What's the best color or color combination (2 tone) for the graphite interior?

    Thank you!

I want to hear some input on this too. Maybe even cheaper options

Look at the ones from Headwaters Seat Covers. He is the guy that did all of the design work for Marathon. They are cheaper also. They are held on by a bunch of velcro straps under the seat. If I know that I am going to be super dirty I just keep an extra old towel in the truck to throw down before I sit in the seat.

I have had a set of marathons for about a year and a half. The fit is great. They go on snug. I would not want to take them on and off often. Just takes a little time to get them back on. My covers do not hold dirt. The tight weave of the material allows them to be brushed clean if dirt and dust gets on them.
I have washed the arm rest cover once and it was a little tighter after the wash but did go back on.
I am not kind to them. I work out of my truck and they have held up really well.
I went with the darker gray color and like it better.
They are pricey but seem to have been worth it. Happy with the purchase.
