My truck is 99' Tacoma 4WD manual 5-speed, 3RZ/2.7L 4 cyl. Has 216K miles. My oil pan is leaking oil on one side of it. I have a repair manual but it only states to remove the under cover, remove the 16 bolts and 2 nuts, clean/add sealant to the pan, and put in place within 5 minutues. Nothing about removing any other parts to get the pan down and out. Does anyone have tips, steps, and any diagrams if possible?
    Thanks.

hi cory, I'm having the same issue.but, my leak is the size of a pin hole. I was starting to fix it with a sealer, when a large piece flaked off the pan, creating that hole. I noticed the rest of of my pan is bubbling/flaking to.well,I'm going to still try that sealant anyways. it's 'Seal All' and it cures in a couple minutes,so its better than JB weld.its found in most auto supply stores. good luck
