broke a leaf spring on my 2009 tacoma. (could be from hauling fire wood or washboard roads) wondering if i'd be better off replacing one leaf or replacing both sides with aftermarket springs as broken leafs seam to be a common problem with other tacomas.

Yup, just replace both with a new set. Loads of options and all have been endlessly discussed here. Do a quick search in this section and the suspension section and you'll get loads of useful info.

Thanks for the info. I did check the site then I went to wheelers site and ordered a new old man suspension package. Dakar springs, nitrocharger shocks and 2885 coils. They should arrive late next week, I live in Kenora Ontario. The price is about the same as the dealer quoted to replace the springs and add a leaf leaving the first spring.
