Not sure if you're up to date on info:
So Bullydog released a gas tuner probably close to a year ago for the Toyota trucks.
These tuners only work on a few different year/configuration for the Tacoma's, see picture attached. The problem came to be that many of the features listed on Bullydogs website were not applicable (didn't work). like custom programming for locks windows etc. That upset quite a few individuals who shelled out around $700 bucks. To make matters worse many users noticed that the performance tune they were running got less snappy over time. (the stock ecu counter acted the tune) so reflashing frequently was the only option to notice the gains. Then support for the product disappeared because Bullydog was bought out by Superchips. No one has mentioned it since.
If anyone see's any mis-information please FIFM

Pretty much summons up what happen. I got excited back then when they were in the process of introducing the tuner. Then Bullydog got stupid and raised the price to $900 and told all of the vendors to sell at that price only. Everything else is history.

Unichip has a controller that looks good but it's 1000 with tuning software and very few positive reports...
I put the underdog racing maf cal on my truck and it works great for a fuel controller.
only 1 map at a time and no timing advance but works great... Great power but my performance map only gets 16 mpg with 32's so I'm slowly backing down the part throttle part of the map...
