    From those of you who have done it;

    How dramatic is the ride quality when switching from 215/70/15 to 235/75/15 on a base Access Cab? It may sound like a stupid question, but I'm in a situation where the ride quality of the Tacoma may force me back into a full size Sierra/Silverado. Not really something I want to do, but...

    I've got stock Dunlops now, so I know that just about anything will be better. I'm looking towards a Michelin street based tire. But I hate to spend $1,000 and then still have to trade. Opinions?

    Maybe you need good high pressure gas shocks instead of tires.

    Good point. I hadn't considered that. Any recommendations?

    I'm trying to make MY truck comfortable enough for my wife to ride long distances in. Her degenerative disc disease and past spine surgeries are starting to take their toll.

    KYB should have what you're looking for.

    Hey, I love the way my truck rides with my Cooper 235/75/R15's. I think anyone who has a base model 5 lug who wants to start modding, should start with this size tire.

    Well, it's a moot point now. There's currently a 2013 Silverado in the driveway.

    I did give my MrYo bracket to the sales manager (who drives a nice looking Tacoma), so all was not lost.

    I appreciate all the info I've learned from this forum.
