New Taco, old driver

This is our third Tacoma, adding to our Toyota collection that includes a Prius and a Camry (boring). Still have an 02 stick-shift long bed Taco as a work and beater truck--too cheap to get rid of it.

Had an 08 Taco, traded up to the 2012 Crew Cab short bed 4X4 when my active duty army son transferred to Hawaii and made me buy it and the trailer (grin).
Use it to tow a 22' Airstream trailer when we are on vacation, but thats another forum entirely....

Both vehicles are well-equipped with ham radio antennas on the outside and more than one radio inside. Ham radio is my main hobby and the accessories reflect that.

I'm a semi-retired Boeing engineer with degrees in electronics engineering, software engineering and information systems management, so technical stuff is my forte...

I'm also a woodworker and house remodeler, so I get to stay more than a littly busy as driven by the design department (wife)...
