    Hi,

I was told by Undercover that the Tacoma factory large tie-downs need to be removed with the Classic as it would interfere.

Someone on another thread suggested mini-tie downs instead which would still allow the tonneau to close.

This is what I assume they meant.

In any case, I thought it would be nice to have the tie-downs in case I take the tonneau off to haul something. So if they do fit I wanted to install them at same time as the tonneau.

    Thanks

I can not use the side rails at all with the Undercover Flex. The new rails go right over the bed rails. One down fall. but we still have the loops in the bed to tie down with. Plus we can still use the front cleat rail.

I have an Undercover classic on my truck. I store my tie downs in one of the storage compartments in the bed. Anytime I have the cover off and need them they are right there.

Yeah, a Classic is different than the Flex though. Our Flex rests on and is clipped on to a drip rail that is clamped on to the same rails we use for the cleats.

I guess if it were a major issue, I could always buy another rail system and install it under the stock location and then use them if I have to carry a large object with my Flex folded up. But I don't see it being a problem now.
