so ive decided to sell my truck. Its a 2006 double cab prerunner with 117,5xx miles. I'm having a hard time figuring out a price for it because of its current condition. Every thing is mechanically sound and has been since I bought it new in 2006. But it is in bad need of a paint job and some bodywork. Its been sitting in the California sun for years and the paint is chipped, dinged and sun damaged in a bunch of places. Plus the passenger door had some shoddy bodywork and paint done and will have to be redone. I have tried to look locally on craigslist and around the state online to compare what they are going for but all the trucks I found were all in really good condition so its hard to gauge. All the ones I found range from 15.5k-20k for the same model as mine.
Some help would be appreciated :D

It's always tough selling vehicles with aftermarket modifications done as they don't really enhance value at all (unless you find that perfect buyer that wants each specific mod as is).

Best bet is to check out KBB or NADA guides (NADA is my preference) and price appropriately and in appropriate condition. Maybe even bring it back to stock form, sell truck for as much as you can get and sell your aftermarket parts to make out as best as possible.

    Good luck.

Your mods aren't worth anything, and your body and paint is jacked up. Judging by your numbers of 15.5k for the same model you have, I'd say subtract at least $3k from that and figure you could sell it for $12k.

Uhm your picture are not working. And I would say if it needs a paint job you can know about 2k off the price. Also the body work is going to hurt the value as well.

How does the paint get that bad? i can see if you lived on the coast, but not where you are. Did you never wax it at all?

Your interior looks very clean. I would use paint corrector where I could and anything else may require experienced paint work. Definitely part out your parts, at least the wheels as you will get nothing for them. But stock ones back on.
