    Howit My Braddas

Had a question hope some of you can help me out with. I bought a 97 Tacoma truck to hunt with. It has a 6" fabtech lift at the moment and I wanna change the rear shocks and leafs as well as the front coilovers. I'll be honest dont really know shit about lifts etc hence asking you braddas.

I would like to know if I this lift is compatible with other brands of suspension parts i.e. UME, ICON etc or not. If it is then do you guys have any recommendations for the parts im looking to replace. I hunted last week and my friend told me he see something hangin under my truck. Looked and it was my shocks LOL! Looks like da bottom bolts came out while going through the rocks we drove through.

Due to my job and upcoming wedding I havent been really able to search da subject a lot. And really would like my truck to be back on da road asap is why im asking for your help.

For your info I carry 2-6 dogs weighing 50-80# each hunting packs cooler and 1-2 braddas in da back. So thats the load I carry in the back when i hunt which is every week if that info helps. The places I hunt the roads arent terrible just a couple areas where its like driving through a dry river for ~80 meters or so. I was thinking ALCAN springs? Any experience with the U Bolt flip kits that flip da U Bolts so the thread end is facing up? But I am all ears my braddas.

Any and all info, suggestions and help is greatly appreciated. Also due to my wedding my budget is kinda restricted but feel free to offer your thoughts. looks like I missed cubiclesurfers mod day damn woulda been good if I seen that earlier I woulda gone down.

Maybe we can do another mod day on this and ALL FOOD AND BEER is on ME!!!

Icon makes front and rear shocks to replace da Fabtech and Procomp shocks that comes wit da 6" lift dat will give a much better ride.
You can have custom alcans made to remove da spacer blocks and will also improve ride quality.
flip kits are good and can't hurt.

Mahalo for the info my bradda!

Yeah I tried contacting fabtech as well. Also emailed Dan at wheelers and sarah with the group buy here. She said she was gonna get back to me the other day. Havent heard back from Dan yet.

Ive done some research but because im in the mountains working so much cant really get on the computer much. I camp all week in da mountain and work weekends doing my own business so super busy. Plus da wedding LOL!!!

I just want to do da job right da first time type of thing and because I dont know much about lifts etc I felt this was the best place to ask.

    Aloha!!!
