4Runner vs Tacoma wheels

I want to replace the wheels on my 2002 Tacoma Prerunner (2 wheel drive). The wheels I have found came from a 4Runner. The sizes are the same but I am concerned about the offset. Should this be a consideration?

The sizes are 265/70 R16

 

What year 4runner are the wheels off of? I've switched the wheels from my 3rd gen (2000) 4runner onto my 2004 1st gen taco with no issues. I'm not sure about the newer big body style 4runners tho'.

 

depends on what year 4runner. If its similar model years then they're exactly the same in BS but newer models have more BS which tucks them into the fender more.

 

Thanks for the info everyone! I checked with the owner of the 4Runner wheels and they came from a 2002 model. Looks like they should be fine.
