ABS, Brake, and Traction Lights all on. Brakes seem to be functioning properly. Just back from the dealer who had my truck all day. They report code C0278 indicates short in ABS unit and est $2,800 to replace. I hope otherwise. Nearly certain this popped up after engaging/disengaging the parking brake. Is it possible the related switch above the pedal is faulty? Would the symptoms be the same? Can I test by means other than removing and testing the switch?

Have you checked the fuses? Specifically check the IGN1 and IGN2 fuses on the inside fuse block, but also others under the hood. Replace any blown fuses and then if the lights come back on, you may in fact have a short somewhere.

Chances are you have a bad ABS sensor, you can borrow someone's and just swap each sensor (just to the connector, you don't have to physically dismount / remount) to see if you get the fault to clear, or you can buy a spare, but they are left hand right hand specific. This could save you some $$$$.
