Will a suspension mod (Old Man Emu) void the factory warranty on my Tacoma?

If the OME part causes damage to the Tacoma that you try to have fixed as warranty work then yes. If they can't prove the suspension caused the warranty issue you're warranty is legally protected.

I would also note (from experience) that some Toyota dealers are mod "friendly," while others, not so much.

Sterdog is absolutely right about the legality issue. If I were you, I would talk to my dealer and specifically speak to the service manager about what it is you intend to do. See what their reaction is. If you don't like what you hear, call another dealer.

Jackhart is correct, ask the service manger. I asked my local dealer and I was told that in order to not void warranty the work would have to be done through them. The dealership in turn has an outside shop do the work, but since it is done "through Toyota" the warranty stays intact.

Good dealerships obey it and encourage a bit of competition. Bad dealerships try to scam you with that sort of crap.
