I have a streamlight that has a recharge station fits perfectly in my center console. I have a wiring question though. where should I pull the power from to charge the light? any opinions would be helpful. thanks

If you don't want to tap into an existing wire, why not put in an Add-a-Fuse. It's what I used for my accessories.

Those light batteries also are only good for so many recharges. So take that into account when finding a power source. A constant may be your best bet. I think the batteries are rated for 200 charge cycles regardless if depleted or not.

I like that idea, should I run it through the firewall or from a fuze inside the cab? I was thinking of adding a switch to the wire so its not always on a constant charge.

I put mine on an add-a-fuse off of the ignition circuit so it only charges when the key is in the ON position. See pics
