    Anyone have a genie connected with their direct TV? Curious how the mini works with it. My internet connection is kind of slow and was wondering if that would be an issue..

    The way it works is your main box has it's own wireless network that the mini wireless boxes connect to. Your home internet system is only used for directv on demand(pay per view).

    I know this because I just had mine installed recently and the installer was extremely informative.
