Thanks to all who are and have served to provide us the very freedom we are engaging in on this forum. You are all hero's in my eyes. I remember hearing about it on the radio, then watching both towers fall on live TV. I wept as I though about all of the innocent people, and all of the brave folks from the Port Authority, FDNY, NYPD, and others.

For those still in the field, god bless you, AND you families, and of course, come home safe!

    Proud to be American!!

i was in grade 10 shop class when the teacher told us that the twin towers were attacked. i was shocked and didn't want to believe what was going on. we all went to his tv and watched as the planes flew into the towers, replayed over and over. took me awhile to accept what happened.

my prayers going out to my brothers and sisters of the emergency response teams. and strength to all lives affected by the attacks.....

God Bless all who serve our great country.....
Armed services, Fire, EMS, Police, Rescue, Port Authority, And the thousands of people who helped save others lives by risking their own.

It really hit home for my family, my father used to be a firefighter/emt in NY and lost a number of good family friends that day. I remember seeing him just be absolutely sick watching events unfold. None of us left the TV for days afterwards.
