My load c Duratrac's will almost balance.:D I still have a faint 'wobble" feeling at about 57-63 mph. I just don't drive 57-63 mph.

My BFG's are D range and get a very very light shake on certain road conditions at 55-60, but it goes away and comes back. Not really a big deal as the rest of the truck doesn't shake. I accept this as a tradeoff for not getting flats in the mountains. :) But then again the Dunlops did it even less, but it was still there.

This......it can be annoying at times but they're off-road tires NOT on road tires! Get a more conservative tire in load C but be ready to change more flats when off-road.

Check to see if they used the correct lugnuts OP. There are three styles of lug seats....mag, conical, and spherical. Think some wheels even come with sleeves. If they used the wrong nuts (or reused the stock nuts?) it could cause vibes. Would explain why the tires seem to balance fine but the vibes start after a couple hundred miles. Tires are fine, its the lugs thast wont stay properly torqued?

Had BFG at on my 07 when I bought it. PO traveled a lot of gravel roads and there we bits of rubber chucked out here and there (not sure if that was the cause). They caused fairly bad vibes. You could feel it in the seat and the steering wheel was bad. Put highway tires on. Vibes gone.

I know Op wants something aggressive, but Michelin MS2's make almost anything feel like you are driving on silk. They don't look like it, but they rock in the wet and snow. I have no experience in more moderate off-road conditions though.

That said I have never had a balancing issue with BFG All Terrains KO 's on any truck or SUV I've ran them on but 2nd Gen Tacoma's. But I chalk that up to everytime I put them on a Tacoma, it was with non-hub centric wheels that I could never get a shop to perfectly balance.

I have put 5k miles on my new rugged terrains, and they have the same issues. Feels like one tire (front right) just won't balance. Taken it back twice for re-balance and it still vibrates. Take your hand off steering wheel and the steering wheel shakes. I don't know what else to do but to chalk it up as a $800 loss. I mean the 7 year old Dunlop's drove like a dream in comparison, it just doesn't make any sense. Lesson learned though, won't try BFG again.

I just installed BFG All Terrain TKO mud and snow 123S. The BFG web-site said they were the all season but NTB had the same model but mud and snow. Going to keep them since it's not NTB's fault just changed the number and I like the mud and snow tires since I'm in PA and do go backpacking quite a bit.

But, yes I do have a vibration that starts at 55 and smooths out at 60 but it is still there. Took the tires back to NTB for a balance and got a little better. The steering wheel doesn't shake just feels like I'm driving on gravel at 55. I'll live with it since I like the tires and I haul and tow as well.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I have the same problem at 60+ mph. Its most annoying because all the way up to 59mph, smooth as hell. The second I start moving past 60mph, steering wheel shaking and tires feel WAY out of balance even though I have had them balanced multiple times. It has been suggested to me to get smaller tires but I'd rather keep the ones I have both because I'm broke, and because the tires I have now are great for all terrain. Wish I knew the solution man, its driving me crazy too.
