Did you get a road force balance and did they give you the road force measurements? Tacomas are sensitive to road force. You can zero the balance on the machine but if there is still too much road force you will still get vibes.

Think of it like an egg. You can balance an egg but you can't make it roll around smoothly on the floor.

Also you needed to find a shop that uses the Haweka adapter. Doesn't matter if lug or hug centeric wheels.

I had 1 of 4 that was a problem child too.

I had to go through 3 tires in order to get a good one.

First one had 33lbs road force = vibes
2nd one had 39lbs road force = vibes
3rd one had 10lbs road force = no more vibes

Luckily I had a good shop that knew what the problem was.

sorry to bring back an old post but I have an update. I just took my truck to the toyota dealership and had them road forced balanced. OMG best $63 I have spent in a long time. There is no vibration except from about 65-70mph but is very minimal due to the tread. Not complaining anymore.

Sounds like they used the Haweka adapter where other tire shops are unaware about the need to use the special Toyota adapter for the tire machine .[IMG] tsu00296.pdf

    THANK YOU!!!

I've been trying to find this on an off for a while now. Someone else posted in a long lost thread about this adapter but not easy to find...

    Cheers,

    Jay
