SoCal Hunting tips and secrets...

I live in Ventura County, and am trying to get back into hunting. I have never hunted Ca before last year. I will be in D13 this year again and am looking at going out 33 through Ojai. I have scouted a spots that look promising but am open to anyone's ideas as well as connecting with other hunters in the area.

i've been sworn to secrecy..my buddy showed me an awesome D13 spot..he just got a big fork during the archery season. i am gonna drive down with my bow for a long shot during the rifle season. he will take a rifle.

one thing i learned. SoCal guys keep secrets very well..a good spot is scarce. i have a good friend with a 100% success rate spot he wont even tell me. and we are friends!!
