Hello all. Hopefully someone can help me out. I have a 2003 Tacoma SR5 4x4. I have put on about 8,000 miles since I bought her in January. Truck has 66,000 miles now. I notice that even the smallest bump or ditch makes a bad vibration. I have looked underneath and find no leaks from the suspension. Could it be I just need new shocks? Does my truck look stock to you guys as far as height? Not sure if the last owner had any suspension work done prior to my purchase. Thanks for any input.

How do your tires look? Mine were dry-rotted when I bought them and the ride was horrid, even scary at times. I replaced them recently and it was a night and day difference. If not, check out your ball joints. With such few miles, I don't think that would be a problem, but worth a look at. If not, then most likely your shocks

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I'm going to guess driveshaft u-joints or center bearing going out.

2" lift AAL and Bilstiens-front-rear,front diff drop. main drive drop
Check tires first-then ball joints and associated hardware-including shocks.
The steering bushings is another good suspect.
Lift the truck with the wheels free--see if you have "play" when trying to move the tires back and forth.

do this with only one wheel off the ground at a time so the other wheel is held in place solid to provide something to wiggle against

hands at 9 oclock and 3 oclock and wiggle in and out pushing and pulling with left and right hand, then do it at 12 oclock and 6 oclock and do the same

for drive train, chock front wheels front and back so it cant roll and lift both back tires completely free and off ground so driveshaft is free and wiggle in both directions at all intersecting u-joints and hanger bearing for movement
