phone connection probelms in 2009

i own a 2009 prerunner sr5 and im having problems getting my phonebook from my galaxy s4 into the stereo. i have paired the phone and it works just fine in the bluetooth aspect but i cant access my phonebook. any suggestions?

 

Try another phone, if you can find an S4 that's the best test, and see if it pairs up.

Unpair the phone from the HU and re connect it.

It could be that it just doesn't work. I'm not sure what phones are supported but I figured the S4 would be.

If more than one phone doesn't work its either

A: not supported by the HU (not sure I ditched the stock on about 1 week after buying the truck)
B: There could be an issue with the HU

 

Ok I'll try that once I get a chance and find a different phone. Me and my wife both have the s4
