    UPDATE!

Current discount is 23% off all Kinetic Recovery Ropes and Synthetic Winch lines, all other accessories 15% off.

We now have a timeline. :woot:
ASR is accepting orders for 1 week, Mon 10/27 - 11/3.

Click here for directions to buy.

    From ASR Offroad's website http://www.asroffroad.com/kinetic-recovery-ropes/
    KINETIC RECOVERY ROPES
ASR's Kinetic Recovery Tow Ropes are THE tool to use when towing stuck vehicles. Utilize the kinetic energy of the tow vehicle to apply more extraction power to the stuck vehicle without cringe inducing jolts. Other towing equipment like chains or standard tow straps can transmit unnecessary, damaging impact forces to both vehicles if used with any sort of a running start. Our Double Braid Nylon material provides up to 30% elongation during use, which translates into lower impact but higher energy transfer to the stuck vehicle. It just works better in most situations than any other option out there.

Perfectly Suited For Low Traction Situations
Made From Extremely Durable, Shock Absorbing Double Braid Nylon
Heavy Duty Cordura Abrasion Protection In Both Eyes And A Slider Section In Between
Marine Grade Coating For UV and Abrasion Resistance
    Made In USA

ASR was founded in 2011 according to their Facebook page.

I contacted them about possibly setting up a group buy and this is what I received. FYI If you are a member of Pirate then there is an ongoing 10% off coupon that if your order is over $100 before the coupon you still get free shipping. (these are practically the same as the more expensive Bubba Rope)

Also to note is the Guarantee

I like the idea behind this, it's an ingenius idea. However, the guy in the video is a moron. You shouldn't shock a snatch strap, one shock and it should be destroyed since it's integrity is compromised.

I am seeing different things here, ship to 1 place and shipping is free.. if shipped to each person's house, he charges for shipping, but if you spend over $100 shipping is free? Any clarification?

    1/2" Rope is $69
    3/4" Rope is $79
    7/8" Rope is $109
    1" Rope is $119
    1-1/4" Rope is $169

20, 30 and 50 foot options looks like with price increasing with each option.

Correct, if shipped to each person's house there would be a shipping charge. So unless we get 16 or more people interested it is probably cheaper to use the other coupon (only if you are a member on pirate ;) ) for free shipping.

FYI I am looking at the 7/8" option. Seems like the right size for a first gen.

So if I bought a 1" 20 footer it would be free shipping or no? Since it costs over $100.

No free shipping on the group buy.

Free shipping without the group buy.
EDIT I will check this with them though.

I'm in @ 16+ people. I may of missed it but, does the rope come with a rope bag as well? No big deal but interested.

I would also be interested in a bit of company history. Time in business most importantly.
    Thanks Kyle

Agree. Also, it looked like an every day lifting sling to me. Definitely not for snapping.

Hey Large, might want to check your post before calling someone a moron. 'ingenious' is the spelling you're looking for.
