Need to replace my tie rods. Didn't do it when I replaced my ball joints, which I think I may have done wrong. What is a good tie rod to get? I was browsing RockAuto and looked under standard replacement, but don't know which to choose.

I bought some Moog ball joints, and the upper's boots don't slip over the end right. Is it supposed to do that?

I bought Napa premium (555 brand) inners and Oem outers for the wife's 98 4runner. Just loose fit them on this afternoon actually. The 555`s seem solid and we're reasonably priced. Got 20% off too since they're having a sale. Buy a $2 camo bucket and everything that fits in it is 20% off.

I bought some moog ball joints and tr ends. I wondered the same thing. I greased the hell out of them and I haven't had any issues.

I assume the grease prevents rocks and sand and stuff getting inside, but to me it just looked weird. Couldn't get them to fit, so I just went to a Take 5 oil change place and they greased them for free.
