    I was generalizing to make my point and it sucks on snow

    Your explanation does make it apparent why it sucks so bad on snow though , because as soon as it senses slippage it releases and rotates the tire , and on snow you have a lot of slip , so basically it won't allow you to brake

    The Tacoma sucks, but I have driven a few GM trucks with ABS in the snow in north Texas, and it actually worked great. Had steering control through the braking.
