I dont mean to thread jack but I have the Z928 but I have a 2007. Does anyone know what the sizing difference is in the kits. Right now I have my double din kit cut to fit but needless to say it does not look as good as 919s. :D

This thing looks amazing. I am wondering how the GPS compares to other market leaders.

Alpine used Navteq and has always been up there with the rest. Mercedes used to use their gear rebranded. Many manufacturers do the same, Honda too.

Mine has been great but for some reason the phone buttons on my steering wheel don't work with bluetooth. I have the PAC TR7 installed. Any ideas on what I might have done wrong?
Also, are you guys able to re-organize the sources on the top banner? It won't give me the option.

What year is your truck? The perfect fit kit will fit only the new dash. the early silver radio needs to be a custom fabbed kit.

You can not change order of the header you can just turn Pandora BT on and off

I have a 2012 with the perfect fit kit. Seemed very plug and play, not sure what I could have messed up besides the PAC bypass thing.

Bump an old thread. Just put in a 928hd and also don't have phone steering wheel controls. Anyone know what it may be?

Alpine told me the phone controls on the steering wheel won't work so I guess there's nothing to fix...

The phone buttons on the alpine adapter work about half the time. It was made by scosche(they should just stick with kits) I only buy the trim kits from alpine now and use the Idatalink maestro adapter now. Works awesome and you can program a second function for each button

What year is your truck? You can buy just the trim for 2012-up perfect kit. If it's a earlier dash we use factory mounting brackets a metra kit, alpine trim ring, CA glue, body filler and sanding
